  2. On 7th December 2007 I received the following from a Charlie RIGNALL who has been giving me information on the LUPTON families: "I would add the
following. I checked the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to see if  Herbert Cyril Lupton or John Grearson Lupton were listed as casualties
of WWI. Neither was. However, when I checked World War II I found a  John Francis Cyril Lupton, age 19, son of John Grearson Lupton and Ina Mary, killed on the SS San Gerardo on March 31, 1942, when the vessel was sunk by two torpedoes launched by U71 while the San Gerardo, a tanker, was enroute from Curacao to Halifax. Ina Mary might be Ida Mary, but I have had no luck in a quick first pass at the BMD".

I do not think that there could be another John Grearson LUPTON other than the one appearing on this Chart, I have therefore added the information and a new chart for his family.
  3. Have found a John F C on the BMD as shown above (Ref 1a 496) I think this is the right one, his gives us his mothers maiden name which was NUNN. Have not been able to find the marriage to date of John Grearson Lupton and Ina (Ida) Nunn on the BMD, have down a search from March quarter 1916 when John would have been 20 to September quarter 1922 when they had John Francis, without success.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
