  1. 1786 baptism - parents James and Sarah (IGI)
1813 Nursery Row, Newington, Surrey (baptism of Jane Catherine)
1816 Nursery Row, Newington, Surrey (baptism of Henry)
1817 Nursery Row, Lockfields, Newington, Surrey (baptism of Sarah Ann)
1819 There is a marriage is for a Joseph SIMPSON and Sarah FRENCH as above but I still think this is not the correct couple. There is a married as shown in the note below on 15th August 1808 in St Marylebone, Westminster of a Joseph Wade SIMPSON to a Sarah DOLAN which I am now certain is the correct one and I have changed the details on the chart above.
1820 Nursery Row, Lockfields, Newington, Surrey (baptism of Henry William)
1823 Nursery Row, Newington, Surrey (baptism of William Charles)
The information on this Chart came from a lady in Australia. I am not entirely happy with it as the marriage, baptism of first child etc do not look correct. On my Brothers Keeper program I have at some time put the following information which I feel is possibly more accurate, but at present I cannot find the source of this information. Going back as far as it goes, it says a James SIMPSON married a Sarah and had a child Joseph Wade SIMPSON. He married a Sarah DOLAN on 15th August 1808 in St Marylebone. It then gives three children a James Wade SIMPSON, a Henry SIMPSON and a Joseph Wade SIMPSON which says he married Sophie GREEN on 10th February 1834 in Newington. James Wade SIMPSON married an Eliz MILLWOOD on 17th June 1932 in Camberwell and they had four children – James, Joseph John Wade, Sarah Ann and Daniel SIMPSON, James married a Mary and had a child Joseph Wade SIMPSON. The Henry SIMPSON above is then connected to our Henry who married Mary Ann DACKOMBE, I feel this might be more accurate, but as I said before I cannot find the source at present, but as actual dates are given someone must have done some research into it, especially if the name WADE is accurate. I have found most of the above on the IGI, as the name WADE appears in the London area I am very inclined to think that the above must be part of our SIMPSON family. I found that there was a Joseph Wade Simpson, born 22nd December 1789 and christened at St Sepulchre, London, a James Wade Simpson, born on 16th October 1808 and christened on 6th November 1808 at St Mary, St Marylebone, and then a Joseph John Wade SIMPSON, Christened 26th July 1835 at St Mary London, a Sarah Ann SIMPSON, born 26th May 1835 and christened on 26th July 1835 at St Giles, London and finally a Daniel SIMPSON born 20th June 1839 and christened 8th December 1839 also at St Giles, which ties up nicely with the names I have above. Only two James SIMPSON’s missing. This all needs more research before being able to say what is correct.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
