    Information for May SUNDERLAND
It appears that May SUNDERLAND remarried to the brother George John TARRANT when Alfred Frederick died, when George John died in 1973 she married yet again to a Robert R PENN in June quarter 1976, Robert was born in June quarter 1918 Bromley district, Kent (birth date at death 23rd April 1918) and died Spetember quarter 1982 Croydon district, Greater London

Have looked on the BMD for the births of the four children on the 1911 Census, There are a lot of TARRANT children in Croydon district and although some of the names tie up the ages do not, for example there is a Dorothy Lilian, she is born in June quarter 1907 which could be correct but the only Hilda is a Hilda Caroline born June quarter 1905 which is the year Emily was born. There is an Emily Hilda born March quarter 1905 but this could be the first child but this conflicts with the Hilda Caroline born in June quarter 1905. The only James is a Percy James born  June quarter 1910, so it does appears that the names on the Census do not tie up with how they were registered, but at the mother was down as Jane not Emily I think they were using other names, second names etc which appears quite common at that time for some reason. At present I have left in information for children on the 1911 with the mothers information

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
