  1. 1827 Baptism in Mortlake with John and Elizabeth as parents on the IGI there is a sister Maria baptised  14th November 1828 in Mortlake.
    On the actual baptism entry it show Decimus was baptised in St Mary, Mortlake,  his father was a Butcher and they were living in Mortlake.
    1841 Welton, Northamptonshire. Decimus was at a School, down as a Pupil, the Master appears to be a John LOTHBURY with a Miles DODD as his assistant, There appears to be 23 pupils all boys, and two female servant and one male servant making up the members of the School.\ Ancestry has him down as Decinues Trovey but looking at the actual census it is definitely Decimus TOOVEY
    1851 Census Baldock End. Bygrave, Hertfordshire. With the family was Louisa SUTTON niece born 1840 Ramsgate, Kent, so child of Ann SUTTON Also a lodger a Thomas DAMAN aged 25 a Rail Porter born Gracechurch Street, London.
    Emigrated to Australia in 1855 on the Gilmour On Decimus TOOVEY;s entry on the Gilmore to Australia he states Father (John) living , Mother (Sara) dead.
