    Frederic WHEATON Age 29 Sex M Occupation Hawker (crossed through and Farm Labo inserted), he could read and write and he was from England and of the English race, his permanent residence was England, Somersham, The name and complete address of nearest relative or friend in country whence alien came is down originally as Mrs TIBBS and this has been crossed through and James WHEATON, High St. Somersham has been inserted and I cannot read the City of Town he was going to, but a lot on the list of the page I am looking at were going to Chicago and one to St Louis, his looks like Milbank?

    Information from Roland ASPINALL 9.11.1993 states that on a List of Monumental Inscriptions in the Norris Museum, St. Ives, Cambridgeshire referring to the 1914-1918 War Memorial in Somersham, Huntingdonshire there is the name of Frederick WHEALTON (sic) "The Regulars" regiment. There is also a Frederick John WHEATON on the War Memorial in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
