  1. 1881 Census - Lower Havelock Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire
  2. 1871 Census - Farmers (Tanners)?  Lane, Kettering, Northamptonshire.
  3. 1861 Census - Farmers (Tanners)? Lane, Kettering, Northamptonshire.
  4. 1891 Census - 3 Tanners Lane, Kettering, Northamptonshire. John is down as being married on this Census, but there is no wife with him, he comes under his younger sister Rachel and then there is a Ernest Birtchnell BELLAMY, grandson, aged 9 a Scholar, born Kettering, Northants, so I suspect that Ernest was a son of John's (Have found the marriage of John to a Mary Jane BIRTCHNELL, but it is 1879, I will have to check the 1881 Census again as I have John as being at home with his parents, but this is also the case on this Census. He is with his wife and children and a lodger with the surname BIRTCHNELL on the 1901 Census  in Bath. (See note 15)
  5. 1901 Census - 7 Westmoreland Villas, Lyncombe, Bath, Somerset. Children Ernest B aged 18 an Assistant Schoolmaster, born Kettering, Northamptonshire and John J aged 15 a Solicitors Clerk, born Kettering, Northamptonshire. The lodger was a Thomas E BIRTCHNELL, aged 48 an Assistant to Inspector of Weights and Measures and born in Apsley Guise, Bedfordshire. I would think a brother of his wife Mary Jane.
  6. 1891 Census - 58 Havelock Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire. John was a visitor at this address. He was with a William SHIVERS, his wife Elizabeth and daughter, Elizabeth. So have found John, but still no Mary for this Census (now found see Note 7). Also cannot find any connection for the SHIVERS family to be connected with John.
  7. 1891 Census - 8 Mumans? (cannot read, but that is the nearest I can get)  Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire - Now found Mary she was also a visitor with a John SADDINGTON and family. Again can find no connection with the SADDINGTON family.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
