  2. 1851 Boreham Wood, Elstree, Hertfordshire.
1861 Woodcock Hill, Little Stanmore, Middlesex. . (On the Actual census Henry is the last child on this Census, but there list also shows James, John and Julia, so there appears to be a page missing from the actual Census). There also appears to be a George HARWOOD aged 22 with the family. He is down as a Lodger and born in Edgware, Middlesex.
    1871 Little Bushey, Bushey, Hertfordshire.
    1881 Clay Hill, Bushey, Hertfordshire.
    1891 47 Mary's Road, Willesden, Middlesex.
  3. 1881 Clay Hill, Bushey, Hertfordshire.
1897 1899 3 Ascolon Street, Battersea, London (address at marriage)
1901 1 Ascalon Street, East Battersea. Grace was with her mother, Amelia NICHOLSON,aged 62 born Maidenhead, Berkshire. Grace's husband was not with her (baptism of children appear to show he was in the Army) With Grace was her son Alfred BOSIER aged 1 down as Grandson born Battersea, London. Also with them was Ernest NICHOLSON son of Amelia aged 23 a Poulterer born Chiswick, Middlesex, May NICHOLSON aged 18 a Milliner born Chiswick, Middlesex and a Bessie NICHOLSON a Granddaughter aged 8 born Battersea, London.
There are three baptisms for children of Alfred and Grace
1900 3 Ascalon Street, Battersea, London, Alfred Edward Major? BOSIER born 16th August 1902, baptised 15th April 1900 St George the Martyr, Battersea, Wandsworth, Lonodn.
1902 74 Stonecoate Road, Battersea, London, Frederick Ernest BOSIER born 16th August 1902, baptised 27th November 1902 St Andrews, Battersea, Wandsworth, London.
1905 51 Dashwood Road, Battersea, London, Benjamin BOSIER born 14 June 1905, baptised 11th August 1905 St Andrews, Battersea, Wandsworth, London.
1906 31 Dashwood road, Nine Elms Ward, Clapham, Wandsworth, London (London Electoral Roll) This is the first entry on the London Electoral Roll for Alfred)
1911 504 Wandsworth Road, SW. Alfred was a Widower. Children Alfred E aged 11 School, born Battersea, London, Frederick E aged 8 born Battersea, London and Benjamin aged 5 born Battersea, London. With the family was Ernest NICHOLSON Brother-in-Law Single aged 32 an Electric Light Gloves Warehouse Packer born Chiswick, Middlesex, May NICHOLSON Sister-in-Law single aged 28 a Milliner born Chiswick, London and Bessie NICHOLSON a Niece single aged 18 an Housekeeper born Battersea, London.
1911 77 Gonsalva Road, Portalade Road, Clapham, wandsworth, London. (London Electoral Roll)
1919 6 Tidbury Street, Ascalon Street, SW 8 (Nine Elms Ward) Battersea, Wandsworth, London (London Electoral Roll) With him at the same address is Alfred BOSIER jun.
(at the same address is a Thomas Alfred RILEY who must be connected somewhere)
1920 6 Tidbury Street, Ascalon Street, SW 8 (Nine Elms Ward) Battersea, Wandsworth, London (London Electoral Roll) With him at the same address is Alfred BOSIER jun.
1929 6 Tidbury Street, Ascalon Street, SW 8 (Nine Elms Ward) Battersea, Wandsworth, London (London Electoral Roll) With him at the same address is Benjamin BOSIER and Frederick Ernest BOSIER. (So he was at same address as in 1938 but with his sons, there are entries between which I assume will show the same address. I will work backwards towards the first entry to see when the address changes)
1938 6 Tidbury Street, Ascalon Street, SW 8 (Nine Elms Ward) Battersea, Wandsworth, London (London Electoral Roll) This is the last entry for Alfred BOSIER on the London Electoral Roll, so he had moved since the first entry but was still in Nine Elms Ward)
  4. 1881 Clay Hill, Bushey, Hertfordshire.
1891 47 Mary's Road, Willesden, Middlesex.  (I had Charlotte H for 1881 Census and born in 1876 and born in Bushey, the Charlotte on this Census is down as Charlotte Jemima C and is aged 17 (so 1874 not 1876) and she is down as being born in Watford, not Bushey, but I think same child)
1895 32 Leythe Road, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. William Alfred COOK born 19th April 1895, baptised 16th June 1895 All Saints, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. (Father shown as William, mother as Charlotte (not Charlotte Jemima) - correct child as appears on 1901 Census and William is down correctly as Dairyman).
1897 7 Stanley Road, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. Albert born 22nd November 1896 Baptism 10th January 1897, All Saints, South Acton, Middlesex. (This is a definite child of William and Charlotte as Charlotte is down as Charlotte Jemima and Albert appears on the 1901 Census - there are three other children baptised in Acton with William as father and Charlotte as mother but her second name does not appear. One of them appears on the 1901 Census, so I would think all children of this couple, but Robert M shown as five months on the 1901 Census does not appear)
1898 7 Stanley Road, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. Horace COOK born 17th March 1898 baptised 29th May 1898 All Saints, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. (This child down not appear on the 1901 Census. The parents are down as William and Charlotte (not charlotte Jemima) and William is a Milkman also living at same address as previous child's baptism and address in 1901 so certain it is a child of this family, perhaps he died before 1901. I think he died June quarter 1899 Brentford district, Middlesex aged 1).
1901 7 Stanley Road, Acton, Middlesex. (Charlotte is down a Charlotte E which she was not and born in Watford, Hertfordshire - but Bushey is the same area, as her husband was a Dairyman and they were in Acton I do believe this is the correct person. Children William A 6, Albert 4 and Robert M aged 5 months all born in Acton, Middlesex
1902 7 Stanley Road, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. Frederic (sic) COOK born 13th May 1902, baptised 3rd August 1902 All Saints, South Acton, Ealing, Middlesex. (have not found family on 1911 Census but I anm certain this is a child of this couple who are down as William and Charlotte, the address is the same as on the 1901 Census and William's occupation is down correctly as a Milkman)
    1911 Not found at present

(I have only searched the Electoral Roll for Emily Alice and the 1935 and 1937 entries are the only two to appear. I am sure if I search further, ie husbands name, etc I would find more)
1937 25 Osborne Road, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll) as well as George and Emily Alice at this address were Frederick William and John Albert, at 27 Osborne Road, theyre was a George Richard Alfred KINGSMAN and an Annie KINGSMAN.

1919 6 Leythe Road, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll)
1937 6 Leythe Road, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll) The 1919 entry and the 1937 entry are the first and last entries for this couple, there are entries for nearly every year in between, but this shows they were at this address all that time.
  7.
  8. 1887 Ravensworth Road, Kensal Green, Westminster, London (baptisms of Frederick and Ernest)
    1891 47 Mary's Road, Willesden, Middlesex.
1902 2 Pickington Road, South Acton, London. (at marriage) (There is a problem with Frederick and his marriage, although I am sure it is the correct person he has put his father down as Frederick William BOSIER (deceased) but his name was Alfred John, but I believe there must have been some confusion and the Vicar put down the Grooms name, However on the 1911 Census Frederick is put down as being born in Paddington, again could be incorrect as he was registered in Hendon but he was baptised in Kensal Green, so he might have believe he was born in London.
1905 8 Cunnington Street, Acton, Middlesex. There was a baptism for a Frederick John BOSIER with Frederick and Olive as parents on 26th November 1905 in South Acton, Ealing. He was born on the 10th October 1905
1911 26 Cunnington Street, Acton, Middlesex. Frederick is down as being born in Paddington. Children Gladdy (sic) aged 4 and Florence aged 8 months both born Acton, Middlesex
1919 167 Bollo Lane, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll) (There are a lot of Electoral Roll entries for this family, I have gone with about five year gaps just to see if they were still living at the same address)
1924 167 Bollo Lane, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll)
1930 167 Bollo Lane, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll)
1935 167 Bollo Lane, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll). There was George BOSIER at the same address so would think he was a son.
1937 167 Bollo Lane, Acton, Ealing, Middlesex (London Electoral Roll). There was George Henry BOSIER at the same address so would think he was a son. This is the last London Electoral Roll where this couple appear.
  9. 1887 Ravensworth Road, Kensal Green, Westminster, London (baptisms of Frederick and Ernest)

The initial information on this pages is from Sheila KILVINGTON née RILEY the youngest child on RILEY Chart 0200.

Further information for this Chart was taken from a Family Tree on Ancestry.com. At the present time I have not verified any of the information taken from other sources

I could not find anything for this family after the 1891 census, but having put the chart on, I have found so much further information, marriages, baptisms etc. It will take sometime to complete this chart therefore. Since starting this chart Ancestry.com has put on information for the London Electoral Roll, this had given me a lot more addresses and information for this family.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
