There was a Joseph WARBY a Boarder a Widower aged 53 a Carter born Coldscote Hertfordshire with the family.
    1901 177 Sparrow House, Bushey, Hertfordshire, Julia A RILEY his daughter was with him a Housekeeper born Edgware, Middlesex, she is down as single, but there is also an Ellen L RILEY 19 down as a Granddaughter a Domestic General born Watford, Hertfordshire with them. There was a Joseph WORBY a Lodger a Widower aged 66 a Labourer born Watford, Hertfordshire with the family

The Web Site on Ancestry shows Ellen L RILEY on this Census as a daughter of Julia with no husband.
    1911 37 Sparrows Herne Bushey Hertfordshire. With Julia was Lousie (sic) Ellen RILEY daughter aged 19 a Laundry Work Ironer born Bushey, Hertfordshire and Mary Edith May RILEY Grandchild aged 7 a School Child born Watford, Hertfordshire. (This proves that Lousie Ellen was the daughter of Julia and it would appear that she in turn had a child without being married.
