There is only one female on the BMD and two males, on the 1871 Census Edmunds wife is a Mary but the other female might also have had the Christian name Mary so the HEWITT might be incorrect.

    Details for John Thomas GILES
1851 Abersyan, Trevithin, Monmouthshire, South Wales. His father an mother as per 1861 Census but his father is down as a Primitive Methodist Travelling Minister.
1861 Census - New Spilsby, Spilsby, Lincolnshire. John is with his mother and father. His father Thomas is 41 born Bishopstowe, Wiltshire and he is a Primitive Methodist Minister which is what John was on the 1901 Census, his mother, Mercy is 53 and born in Shaftsbury, Wiltshire.
1871 Census - 9 James of ??? Street, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. John is with his mother Mercy who is a widow, aged 64 an Annuitant born Shaftsbury, Dorset. Strangely he is down as a Saddler, meaning to date that his occupation has changed at each census that I have found him on to date
1881 Census -  Monument House, Shady Lane, Great Driffield, Yorkshire, I think this is this John his age and birth place are correct. He is down as an Assistant Master (Teacher - Schoolmaster) the only problem with this is the he is down as unmarried, but that might have been a condition of the position so he did not declare that he was married)
1891 Census - 50 Sycamore Terrace, St Botolph, Lincoln, Lincolnshire. John and Susan were Boarding with an Eliza HEWETT a widow, aged 77 Living on her own mean born Rye, Sussex.
1901 Census - 37 Argyle Street, Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire. With them was Sarah A CADMAN sister-in-law born Whitfield, Kent aged 57

1871 Census - 74 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. There was an Alfred DRAYTON, a visitor aged 23 a Carpenter born Canterbury, Kent with the family
1881 Census - 20 Marlborough Mews, St James, Golden Square, London. The whole Census page are Police Constables, 25 in total, on the previous page at the same address is the Inspector of the Police and his wife and two children, the Sergeant of the Police, his wife and four children and another 15 Police Constables, and there are another 4 Police Constables on the page following the one that Jeffery appears on.
1891 Census - Cannot find at the present time.
1901 Census - 1 Lindrop Street, Fulham, London. Five children on this Census. He is down as being born in Whitfield not Walmer but age is correct, and some of his siblings were born in Whitfield. Although a Carpenter in 1871 at least three of his brothers became Policemen so it is quite likely he did too, and on this census he is show as a Police Pensioner, I therefore think I have the correct person. I will try to find on the 1881 and 1891 Census.
  11. 1861 Census - 1 Meeting Street, Ramsgate, Kent. There was a Sarah MARSH aged 72 a Lodgers a Fundholder born Sutton, Kent with the family on this Census

1901 Census - 5-9 Broad Street, St James, London.

1871 Census - High Street, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent. Enoch was a shop boy to a Alfred T RICHFORD, aged 24 a Butcher employing 1 man and 1 boy born St Lawrence, Kent and his family.
1881 Census - 2 Clarendon Road, Hougham, Kent
Details for Emma CADMAN née BEERLING
1891 Census - St Martin's Hill, St Mary, Kent. Emma was a servant to a Christopher WORSFIELD and family. Another servant was a Kate BEERLING aged 17 born Sandwich, Kent. I think possibly a sister of Emma as I believe that was her maiden name. As can be seen she married Enoch after the 1881 Census and he died before the 1891 Census. We do have a lot of BEERLING's in our family trees, but as yet have not found any connection.
1901 Census - 19 Castle Street, Dover, Kent. A servant to a William R MOWLL, aged 26 a Solicitor, born Dover, Kent and his family.

1901 Census - 13 Queen Street, Dover, Kent. Four children on this Census.

I have now completed information for this chart and I think it is one of the few situations where I have nearly covered everyone on all the Censuses that they were living and found the deaths when I cannot find them on the next Census, so a complete set of details for this Chart, including in two cases the partners where there were no children. The only things I have not found is the marriage of Frank Ambrose CADMAN to Emma ??? and Jeffrey CADMAN and his family on the 1891 Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
