    1911 Not found at present
In 1952 on the England Andrews Newspaper Index Cards James Fairbrother EDWARDS appears, just a handwritten name as Edwards James Fairbrother Revd. I think that because he was a Reverend this is the possibly husband of Maud. He wrote several books, one of them Puyāneshwar, the out-caste Brāhmin in 1941 suggest he might have been to India. Another The Holy Spirit: The Christian Dynamic written in 1918 is Christian Literature Society for India. Possibly this is why I have not found them after marriage.
There is a baptism for a James Fairbrother Edwards, son of Isaac Edwards and Sarah on 26th April 1875 at the Daubhill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Bolton, Lancashire, at the time they are living at 3 Bright Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. he was baptised by a Simpson CRUMP.
On the BMD his birth is recorded as September quarter 1875 Bolton district, Lancashire.
He travelled to New York in 1923 and is down as a Missionary but no wife with him and he says he is single? but the contact in England is for Brother-in-Law a J. Bolton of 17 Broadwater Road, Tottenham, London. He sailed from Southampton and arrived in New York on 4th January 1923 on "Majestic" (The fact his relation is in Tottenham, London suggests that this is the correct person, but still lot of queries to confirm that his was indeed the person Maud married. On another site with details of this voyage is says his place of residence was Bombay, India.
James Fairbrother EDWARDS apparently married Mary Louis WHEELER born 29th March 1878 and died about 1966 on 23rd December 1930 in India. He is down as being born in 1875 in England and death on 5th December 1951 in Auburndale, Polk County, Florida, USA.   I cannot believe that there was more than one James Fairbrother Edwards born in 1875 in England. So I still have the problem of whom he married, The other person on the BMD in 1904 was a Sarah Ann A CROUCH
On 14th January 1949 he did a border crossing from Canada to Buffalo, New York, USA. He gives his wife's name as Louise, and his departure contact as his sister Mrs. M.  BOLTON of London, England. His birth date is give as 25th March 1875 in England.
In 1901 James F EDWARDS was a Boarder at 86 Dunstable Road, Luton, Bedfordshire. He was a Wesleyan Minister born Bolton, Lancashire. Hie was with a Wlliam BONHAM aged 29 and his wife Avril aged 28.
  6. 1891 18 Pembury Avenue, Tottenham, Middlesex.
1901 32 Lansdowne Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. Arthur was a widower. He was Head, with him were his two daughters and two visitors, a Kate M S CHRISTIE aged 20 born Hammersmith, Middlesex and Joyce PIPER aged 0 born Torquay, Devon.
1911 32 Lansdowne Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. Arthur was a widower. He was Head, with him was his daughter Eva Mary aged 28 born Tottenham, Middlesex and a Grace Eleanor CARRINGTON aged 26 a General Servant Domestic born Wood Green, Middlesex
1925 24 Highbury Place, Islington, London (London Electoral Roll)
1926 24 Highbury Place, Islington, London (London Electoral Roll)
1927 24 Highbury Place, Islington, London (London Electoral Roll)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
