  2. 1841 Census - St Lawrence Street, Thanet St Lawrence, Kent

  3. 1841 Census - Prospect Cottages, Southwood, St Lawrence, Kent (occupation next to Hannah but think it must relate to Thomas)
1851 Census - St Lawrence Street, Thanet St Lawrence, Kent
1861 Census - St Lawrence Street, St Lawrence, Kent.
1871 Census - High Street, St Lawrence, Kent - see Note 4 - On this Census there is a Thomas PHILPOTT, no relationship given age 10 Scholar born St Lawrence, Kent
1881 Census - High Street, St Lawrence, Kent. This entry really needs to be looked at to be believed.  Under the indexing for Ancestry.com it is just down as JULL no Christian names and indeed this is as it appears, but the Head is down as T JULL, Head age 73 General Labourer born St Lawrence, his wife just "do" age 72 Laundress, born Ramsgate, Kent, then PHILPOTT, daughter, widow age 41 Laundress, born Ramsgate, Kent and finally, JULL daughter unmarried, age 44 Laundress, born Ramsgate, Kent. As this all ties in with Thomas, Hannah, Hannah and Eliza above I am sure this is the correct family.
  4. 1840 Minster, Kent
1851 Census - Westmarsh, Ash next Sandwich, Kent
1861 Census - West Starch?, Ash, Sandwich, Kent - also living with the family were Henry E BEERLING, age 14 Servant, Carter born Glemstone? Kent and Fanny Tayman, Servant, age 19 born Stourmouth, Kent

  6. 1851 Census - West Wickham Green, West Wickham, Kent. . There was  a visitor, a Jemima CHAPMAN, aged 31, born Minster, Kent, I do not think she is connected.
1861 Census - Veterinary Forge and Ironmongery Shop, Foots Cray, Kent They also had a servant a Jane Medhurst, Servant age 19 General Servant born Cudlam, Kent.
1871 Census - Smiths Shops, Foots Cray, Chislehurst, Bromley, Kent. with them was  Henry William COURT aged 21, a Law Stationer, he was born in Minster, Kent. (Having now found who William John married, I think there must be a connection)
1881 Census -  Foots Cray Village. There was also an Alfred Mammery? Visitor unmarried age 26 a Cashier Clerk born High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
1891 Census -  Station Road, Courtsville, Foots Cray, Kent, indexed as FULL but definitely this family.  There was also a Servant, an Emily E Taylor, age 15 born St Pauls Cray, Kent.

1871 Census - 22 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent. There were three visitors with the family.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
