    It appears that Stephen married again, he appears to have married a Susannah BROWN, but I think she was a widow, but I think there is a connection to the BROWN family somewhere at the witnesses were Thomas and Elizabeth BROWN details of second marriage on http://freespace.virgin.net/anglers.rest/puttmarr.htm
