  1. 1861 Census - Providence Cottage, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent, also with this family was the mother of George NORRIS, Dorothy NORRIS, a widow aged 88 born St Lawrence, Kent
    1871 Census - No addresses on Census page, first previous address is Southwood Cottage, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent
    1881 Knole Park, Sevenoaks, Kent. He is with a Thomas J CRANE Head married aged 37 a Head Gardiner (sic) born Clapham, Surey and his family, a wife and 5 children. He is down as  Robert C NORRIS Lodger unmarried aged 26 a Gardiner (sic) born St Lawrence, Kent. There are two other lodgers both Gardiners (sic).

    1911 Wellington, Terrace, Kingsclere Newbury, Hampshire. Mary Ann is down as having been married 29 years and as having had 5 children one of whom had died by the date of this Census.
    1935 National Probate Calendar he appears as follows
    NORRIS Robert Conway of 6Wellington-terrace Kingsclere Hampshire died 3 December 1935 at North-street Kingsclere Administration Oxford 21 December to Irene Margaret Norris Spinster and Beatrice Mary Hartley (wife of William Hartley). Effect £748 3s. 8d.

    1871 Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire. Mary was a Servant to a Joseph and Sarah SAWYER.
    1881 Park House, Kingsclere, Hampshire. Mary was a servant to a John PORTER and family.

    1911 30 Green street, St George Hanover square, London. Beatrice Mary was a Servant, Single a Children's Maid to a Margaret Thomson GRANT Head a Widow aged 76 Private Means born Haddingston Scotland. With her was her son James Augustus GRANT aged 44 a Member of Parliament born Jullunder Pugla, Indian. his wife was with him. Their were two granddaughter but the surnames were SOPHIE and HEST so I do not think children of James. Thee was a Governess, a Housekeeper and six other servants other than Bearice.
