  1. 1851 Census - Shere, Surrey.
  2. 1841 Census - Little Cattles, Shere, Surrey.
  3. I have just noticed a marriage of an Eliza Furlonger TICKNER in the December quarter of 1856 in Guildford district. I think she must belong with this family. No further research done as yet, she married either a Alfred DALE, a Robert HEATHER or a Charles WAKEFORD (I now believe she was the child of John and Hannah TICKNER, she was registered in March quarter of 1838 in Guildford district, Surrey, which ties up with the Eliza on TICKNER on this Chart (Now found she married Charles WAKEFORD)
  4. 1861 Census - Broadmoor, Wotton, Surrey. Children: - Walter William WAKEFORD, aged 4 a Scholar, born Wotton, Surrey, Charles John WAKEFORD, aged 2 born Wotton, Surrey and James WAKEFORD aged 1 born Wotton, Surrey. Charles's mother Elizabeth WAKEFORD, aged 61 a widow born Wotton, Surrey was with the family.
  5. 1871 Census - Dorking Road, Westcott, Dorking, Surrey. Charles's mother Elizabeth, aged 70 an Annuitant born Wotton, Surrey was still with the family, there was also a Daniel WAKEFORD, brother aged 33 a Carman born Wotton, Surrey with the family.
  6. 1881 Census - Broomfield, Dorking, Surrey
  7. 1891 Census - Westcott Road, Dorking, Surrey
  8. 1901 Census - 25 Rothes Road, Dorking, Surrey. Charles and Mary had two sons on this Census - Charles W aged 17 born Westcott, Surrey a Picture Frame Maker and Henry V aged 11 born Dorking Surrey. With the family was a William G WAKEFORD who is down as father, but I feel this is incorrect as Charles's father was Charles, and this William G WAKEFORD was born in London St George the same as Charles's wife Mary so I feel it is really the father of Mary and they have the wrong surname, He is 81 a widower Living on own Means and as I have said was born in London St George.
  9. 1901 Census - Baddersley Common, Hampshire, Kate was a visitor with a Barnet EVERLEIGH, aged 43 born Dorchester, Dorset.
  10. 1881 Census - Cypress Cottages, Westcott, Surrey. Walter and Marion had a son a Walter William WAKEFORD, aged 4 months born Westcott, Surrey on this Census.
  11. 1891 Census - District 1st Battalion the Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment, Aldershot, Hampshire
  12. 1891 Census - West Street, Reigate, Surrey. Flora and Kate were servant together to a Christopher SEARCH?, who was a Schoolmaster, his wife and son. There were a lot of other boarders and pupils but Flora and Kate were the only Servants.
  13. 1901 Census - Victoria Road, Dorking, Surrey. There was a Kate WAKEFORD, aged 4 down as daughter with James and Flora she was born in Westcott, Dorking, Surrey.
  14. 1891 Census - 12 Meadow Brook Lane, Dorking, Surrey
  15. 1901 Census - Dorking Union Workhouse, Dorking, Surrey
  16. 1891 Census - 2 Humphries Cottage, Dene Street, Dorking, Surrey
  17. 1901 St Johns Road, Dorking, Surrey. Children: Eliza E aged 5 born Hougham, Kent, Florence K aged 4 born Woking, Surrey, James Z aged 3 born Guildford, Surrey and George J aged 1 born Westcott, Surrey.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
