  1. 1891 Census - Binscombe?, Godalming, Surrey
  2. 1901 Census - St Nicholas Hospital, Guildford, Surrey
  3. 1881 Census - Manor Road, Godalming, Surrey.
  4. 1871 Census - Warren House, Sutton, Sussex. There was a Grandson, a Joseph NEWMAN aged 5 a Scholar, born Knighton, Radnor on this Census. I would think a son of Joseph as the children are listed on the Census as Phebe, Moses then Joseph then the Grandson Joseph.
  5. 1861 Census - Lane Cottage, Coates, Sussex. There was a Grandson, James aged 1 born Petworth, Sussex with the family, I assume a son of John and Jane who were living with the family. On the IGI there is a Betsey NEWMAN baptised 29th September 1861, Coates cum Burton with a John and Jane NEWMAN as the parents. I believe this is a child of John and Jane on this Chart above.
  6. Cannot find family on 1841 or 1851 Census at present
  7. IGI -Coates, Sussex- I then went to the IGI and found the baptism of Moses, which at least now gives me the first name of his father. from this I found the baptism for Pheobe and Joseph. This then gave me some additional children, Job, Elizabeth and Michael
  8. IGI - Petworth, Sussex
  9. The reason these charts have been added is through an email from an Andy BROWN on 19th/20th September 2007. He lists most of the names above but mentions the 1851 Census. At the present time I cannot find the family on this Census. I have found a baptism for Noah who he mentions on the IGI but cannot find the first sibling James. I have added him above, hopefully I will find the family on the 1841/1851 Census at some stage.
  10. 1851 Census - Coates, Sussex. Andy BROWN has sent me a PDF of the 1851 Census of the first part of the family. It appears that Ancestry.com has missed some pages on the 1851 as now having the image and other names to search for it definitely is not there. However he has given me the National Archives site where the PDF page has come from. I have no credits for this site and do not intend to pay just to see the second page of this Census. However Andy searched for Michael and this came up, so I used the same criteria for Phoebe and Elizabeth and they are also there. This has given me the whole family on the 1851 Census and ties up with my findings on the IGI except of course for Moses who was born after that Census. It also gives me details of John, age, birth place and occupation which I did not have before. Still to find on the 1841 Census, using the same method on the National Archives site for John, Martha, and the four eldest siblings nothing come up.
  11. 1881 Census - Sutton, Sussex. Children Mary A, aged 2 born Sutton, Sussex and George aged 8 months born Sutton, Sussex
  12. 1891 Census - Cottage, Bignor, Sussex. Children Mary A, aged 12, born Sutton, Sussex, Scholar, George, aged 10 born Sutton, Sussex, Scholar, Arthur 5 born Byworth, Sussex and Elizabeth 2 born Byworth, Sussex.
  13. 1901 Census - Bignor Village, Bignor, Sussex. James was a widower on this Census. Children with him were: Mary A aged 22 born Sutton, Sussex, George 20 Seaman Royal Navy born Sutton, Sussex, Arthur 15 Cowman on Farm born Byworth, Sussex, Elizabeth 12 born Byworth, Sussex, There was a Richard TUPPER, brother aged 65 a Farm Labourer, born Sutton, Sussex with the family.
  14. 1861 Census - Singleton, Sussex - Had a daughter Fanny aged 1 month born Coates, Sussex.
  15. I came up with a marriage on the BMD for Joseph in the December quarter of 1864 to a Sarah Ann FALLICK, then looking on the IGI I find the actual marriage recorded as being on 26th December 1864 a Coates cum Burton, Sussex to Sarah Ann FALLICK. It would appear that Sarah died by 1871 so this actually give us the marriage details about her and her maiden name.
  16. IGI marriage, confirms what I had found on the BMD but only gives us August for the date although extracted from the actual records.
  17. 1851 Census - Aldingbourne Sussex. Thee is a Sarah A FALLICK at this address who I think must be this Sarah. She is 7 and her parents were Silas, aged 44 a Master Baker, born Wandsworth, Surrey and his wife Emily, aged 42 born Aldingbourne, Sussex, Sarah had sic siblings on this Census.
  18. 1901 Census - Upper Jordans, Pulborough, Sussex.
  19. 1871 Census - Skinners, Pulborough, Sussex
  20. 1881 Census - Upper Jordans, Pulborough, Sussex
  21. 1891 Census - Upper Jordans, Pulborough, Sussex.
  22. 1871 Census - White Horse Inn, Hascombe, Sussex

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
