    1871 West End, March, Cambridgeshire.
1881 West End, March, Cambridgeshire.  We have a strange entry on this Census. There is an Elizabeth WHITTLESEY entered as daughter aged 30 which ties up with the Elizabeth in this family, she is the last entry on the Census. The strange bit is that she is shown as married and born in Oxfordshire. I would think both are incorrect. I would think they have just put down WHITTLESEY as she is their daughter and that she was living in Oxfordshire as we know she was born in March,
    Cambridgeshire.
Marriage: Bet. October - December 1843 Huntingdon District, Huntingdonshire (see notes)
On FreeBMD the marriage shown here is included for Mary NAYLOR, but no Thomas WHITTLESEY is listed. However, although there are nine people listed one bride is repeated with a different spelling for a surname and one bride is entered showing a Newmarket District whereas all the rest are in the North Witchford District, This led me to count the bridegrooms and there were only 3 for the 4 brides. On the off chance I looked on findmypast for a WHITTLESEY in the December quarter 1843 and there was an entry for Volume 14 page 321 which corresponds with the Mary NAYLOR on FreeBMD!
  8. 1851 Well End, March, Cambridgeshire.
1861 2 Princes Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
1871 Gwydir Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridgeshire.

Note for convenience I have called all the WHITTLESEY charts WHITTLESEY. This is not what they are all named, it shows as WHITTLESAY, WHITTLESEA etc.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
